Introduction
My name is Shahram Kaboodvandpour. I was born on 9th June, 1969 and raised in Sanandaj city, Kurdistan Province, Iran,. I then, received my high school diploma in 1978 in the field of Practical Sciences. I was always fascinated by nature and wildlife as my father was an amateur huntsman. Therefore, I decided to attend in University to pursue my studies in the field of Environment and Fisheries Engineering. So, I earned my bachelor degree in 1992 from Gorgan University of Natural Resources and Agriculture Sciences, Mazandaran, Iran. But this was not enough and I decided to learn more about wildlife and biodiversity. Again, I pursued my studies in the field of wildlife ecology and management for my master degree in the hope of becoming a wildlife ecology lecture in University someday. I have been honored by getting a position as wildlife lecturer in Natural Resources Faculty at Kurdistan University in 1992. After six years of teaching wildlife subjects at Kurdistan University, I received a scholarship award from Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) to continue my researches in the field of Wildlife Management. I have been awarded by receiving a PhD. Degree in the field of Wildlife Management from Queensland University, Australia in 2006. After that, I continued my researches and teaching at Kurdistan University up to now. My research interests are: Wildlife Population Dynamic (by emphasizing on Rodents), Natural Habitats Assessments and Conservation Biology as well as pollutants bio-tracking within natural food chains.
