IRAN has more than 130 Allium species, several species have distributed in west. Kurdistan and East Azerbaijan are in west of Iran and these area are known to have much original land. We studied on 6 species of this genus. A. dictyoscordum, A. rubellum, A. longicuspis, A. leave, and A. iranicum. They are belonging to subgenus of Allium, and all of them with the exception of A. rubellum (sect. Scorodon) are inside Allium section. A. cardoiostemone is belonging to Melanocrommyum subgenus and Psedoprason section; populations collected from west of Iran (Kurdistan and east Azerbaijan). A. rubellum All of the examined plants collected from the natural populations were diploid 2n = 16 A. longicuspis This population is recorded to have a tetraploid chromosome number 2n = 32, consist of 16 pair metacentric chromosomes. A. leave The account of chromosome in this population was diploid 2n= 16 that consist of 8 pair of metacentric chromosomes. We reported the number of chromosome for the first time. A. iranicum All of the examined plants collected from the natural populations were tetraploid 2n = 32. Actually we observed one submetacentric and one subtelocentric satellite chromosome in this karyotype and 14 pair metacentric chromosomes A. dictyoscordum All studied specimens of Azerbaijan population were deploied with one B-chromosome.We reported this result for the first time. A. cardiostemon Karyotype analysis and chromosome count for Islamic Island population shown present of one B-chromosome but in another population from kurdistan, there was no trace of extra chromosome. The somatic karyotype in A. cardiostemon was 2n = 16+1B.
