This paper presents digital predictive deadbeat current control technique. The desired control law is applicable for dc-dc converters operating in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) with fixed frequency PWM scheme. Experimental results on a prototype boost converter show the usefulness of digital current control strategy. Advantages and disadvantages of this method are investigated.
