As a Keynote Speaker at the First Joint International Conference (ICEPS 2020) I discussed the importance of revising the pedagogical principles and strategies based on emerging knowledge-based economy and some critical macro trends. Indeed in the light of rapid technological advancements, new models bridging educational policies and practices to the workplace must be sought and strengthening the relationship between educational systems and the economy needs to be emphasized. These efforts, therefore will lower the rate of unemployment among educated people which have been increased sharply in recent decades in most developing countries.
