One of the fundamentals of Human-Centered design approach is to consider human factors throughout all stages of the design process which requires the effective use of appropriate human models. This paper presents a classification of human models and their industrial applications with emphasis on industrial design processes. It specifically focuses on the application of human modelling as an interactive technique in the future human-centered industrial system design approaches.
