Human models are used to study and solve problems across a very broad spectrum of domains. These problems combine aspects of the material world (the workplace, the economy, medicine, etc.), and aspects of the conceptual world that people create (art, advertising, organisation, etc.). The main objective of this paper is to offer a definition of human models and to present the application of human models in industrial systems design.
