There are three essential parts: assets (financial, intellectual, and physical), processes (what it does, and how it does it), and employees, which make up every business. Meanwhile, the management of physical assets, especially in equipment-based industries, plays an essential role in increasing productivity. Implementing a physical asset management system as a broad set of processes and guidelines and paying attention to the needs and requirements of stakeholders requires performing a set of activities and paying attention to various aspects of organizational empowerment. This study evaluates the management of physical assets in a beverage factory based on the Uptime model. For this purpose, the organization's employees completed the relevant questionnaire, and the researcher analyzed the results. The paper compares the self-assessment results with the opinions of the assessor and national and global averages. Based on these results, there are many opportunities for improvement in the field of physical asset management. Finally, the paper proposes improvement solutions to improve the organization's situation.
