In the present study, anchored palladium onto the surface of organically modified mesoporous silica was successfully prepared via simple and inexpensive procedure. The prepared nanocatalyst was considered as robust and clean nano-reactor catalyst for Suzuki and Stille reactions and synthesis of sulfide. This ecofriendly heterogeneous catalyst was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermal gravimetric analysis, and N2 adsorption and desorption. Use of green medium, easy separation and workup, excellent reusability of the nanocatalyst, and short reaction time are outstanding advantages of this method.
