in this study, Gd (III) and Td (III) immobilized magnetic nanocatalysts were prepared following a simple pro-cedure using available materials. These nanoparticles were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TGA, EDX, and ICP-OESstudies and utilized in the S-oxidation reactions. It was observed that the rate of oxidation with Tb magneticnanocatalyst was higher than that of Gd. Significant advantages of this environmental friendly process includeshort reaction times, high efficiency, and convenient recovery and reusability of the catalyst for several timeswithout any significant loss of activity.
