Electro-Centrifuge-Spinning (ECS) method is used as a novel technique to generate electrospun nanofiner of polycaprolacton (PCL). In this method, polymer solution is pulled out form its container by applying centrifugal forces. Due to the high rotational speed of the spinneret around its container axis and exposing the outlet polymer solution to the surrounding air, the ejected solution from the nozzle tip is immediately dried and the spinneret blockage is happened. So, Selection of a proper solvent system can remove this drawback. In this study, several commonly used solvent systems were examined for ECS of various concentration of PCL. The results show that a binary solvent system of acetic acid and formic acid is an appropriate choice for steady state Electro-Centrifuge-Spinning of various concentration of PCL. Finally, the most important affecting process parameters, including RPM, voltage and polymer concentration were determined for steady state Electro-Centrifuge-Spinning of PCL.
