In the present work a two-dimensional finite element model is used to simulate the wind interaction with tall buildings and buildings with aspect ratio of 6 are studied. The results demonstrate a constant pressure coefficient in the front side of building then a sharp drop in the last floors and then another constant pressure coefficient in the back side of building. The results reveal that the friction drag is negligible with respect to the pressure drag.
