Abstract

A three-step unconditionally stable locally 1-D approach is proposed, representing a dispersive anisotropic magnetized plasma medium. The accuracy and stability of the method are verified through simulation of wave propagation in a microwave cavity partially filled with a plasma slab. Finally, Faraday rotation across a plasma slab is simulated by the proposed method.
