Semi-plain, mountain areas as well as study area. The two stages stratified random sampling used to select the samples. The number of sample farmes and village in all the three areas were 210 and 30 respectively for the agricultural year 2003-2004. The total number of farmers which experienced rainfed and irrigated wheat in their farmers were 196 and 103 respectively . in overall, most of the rainfed wheat farmers belonged to medium category followed by low, poor, high and very high categories while in case of irrigated wheat most of the them were belonged to low categiry followed by medium, poor and high categories.
