From Zangan to Zanjan by Kyoumars Habib, Ahmad Pourahmad and Abolfazl Meshkini brings and discusses several themes, which are central in the analyzing of modern cities. It also provides a historical analysis of city formation of Zangan, how the city has been transformed to the current conditions which named Zanjan. For the authors, the old part of the city can represent the Zangan in itself and the whole city today which comprised three layers; old, middle and marginal areas, can define the city of Zanjan in current conditions.
