There exist various factors influencing the challenge of sustainable urban development in third world countries. This paper attempts to pursue this challenge looking at the process of uneven and inequality in global urban development. It became clear that this challenge is mainly rooted from the action of developed nations in expansion of their space economy since the start of modern colonization. Therefore, they have to help them through financing and technology transfer to pave the way for equitable global urban development.
