A facile and convenient synthesis of the title compounds has been reported by a condensation reaction of anthranilic acid derivatives with aryl aldehydes and then, cyclization reaction of the obtained Schiff bases with phenyl isocyanate. Good to high yields of products are obtained under mild reaction conditions and with easy work-up.
