Abstract

The simulation of communication systems provides a valuable opportunity for a deeper understanding of theoretical concepts and their connection to practical applications. By enabling the observation and analysis of system behavior under various conditions, this process allows you to quickly examine the impact of parameter changes and take steps to optimize system performance. MATLAB and Simulink, as powerful tools, simplify the design process by reducing costs and accelerating the construction of prototypes. Engineers can accurately design and evaluate communication systems using this environment, identifying their strengths and weaknesses. Also, researchers, by utilizing simulation and modeling of innovative ideas, can explore diverse scenarios, thus paving the way for development in the field of telecommunications. For students, learning the principles of simulation creates a bridge between theoretical education and practical experience; by mastering these principles, they gain a deeper understanding of specialized courses and become more prepared to work in the industry and enter the job market. In this workshop, while reviewing some basic wireless communication concepts, important points in the simulation of communication systems are discussed through several examples.
