In response to the existing challenge in penetration of more RESs/DGs to the grid via MGs, and integration of advanced metering, computation, communication and control into appropriate levels of MG control synthesis, this speech provides a comprehensive coverage of MG control understanding, analysis, design, and implementation. This presentation summarizes a long term academic/research outcomes and contributions, and is influenced by the speaker's practical experiences on MGs, electric network monitoring and control and power electronic systems during more than one decade professional activities in several countries, universities and power electric companies.
