Abstract

Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) is an important issue in the estimation of the mean annual frequency of exceeding a certain limit-state capacity, which is an emerging analysis method that offers thorough seismic demand and capacity prediction capability by using a series of nonlinear dynamic analyses under a multiply scaled suite of ground motion records. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) utilizes techniques like mathematical programming that can handle large numbers of variables and constraints, which the main objective of DEA models is to evaluate overall efficiencies of decision making units by a scalar measure ranging between zero and one. The methodology is presently limited to predictions of the median curve only.
