The purpose of this study is to design a model for business & market intelligence using a mixed approach. At First, reviewing historical researches, the metrics of business & market intelligence are extracted.Following; the initial variables are evaluated and selected by qualitative method and focused groups. The population consists of commercial managers and experts at Iran Transfo Group in Iran. As the members of population were available, then all population was the sample. Data gathered by questionnaire, and descriptive statistics and matrix of importance- performance are used for analysis. The results showed that the state of business & market intelligence were medium but with different dimensions. Technological intelligence is in a relatively good level but market and competitors intelligence in a medium level. The state of strategic Intelligence didn’t have a good level. Based on importance - performance matrix, Technological, competitors and market intelligence were in the area of business intelligence strengths but the key weakness was strategic intelligence.
