Abstract

A1though, acylation of enamines derived from secondey amines and ketones is a well known synthetic method for acylation of ketones, no report appear to have been published on the acylation of the enaminones obtained from primary amines and 1,3 di ketones . these enaminones have two possible sites for acylation , and it is interesting to see whether acylation occures at N or at C atom. We wish to report on the acylation and benzoylation of enaminones I - V. Dynamic NMR features of these molecules will be presented and discussed
